Tribute

North Andover, MA – Anne M. (Vetrano) Angelari, 93, formerly of Methuen, left the loving embrace of her family on November 19, 2018, but she will remain forever in the hearts of all those who knew her.

Daughter of the late Achille and Antonetta (Fargnoli) Vetrano, Anne graduated from Lawrence High School in 1943 and worked for the Internal Revenue Service for twenty years. Throughout her life, Anne was very active in her community and involved with many organizations including St. Lucy Parish, the Ladies Lions Club, the Legion of Mary Sacred Heart, the Internal Revenue Service Retirees Association, the Queen City #2 Disabled American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary, the Scarlett O’Hara Red Hats, the Merrimack Valley Retired & Senior Volunteer Program and the Methuen Senior Center. She also supported many charities and was a friend to all.

An avid movie fan of 1930s and 1940s cinema, Anne also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles in her spare time as well as knitting and crocheting beautiful keepsakes. But above all things, she was deeply devoted to her family and enjoyed nothing more than cooking a big Italian dinner for her loved ones.

Anne was predeceased by her adored husband, Angelo Angelari and beloved son, Michael Angelari, as well as her siblings, Angelo Vetrano, Gildo Vetrano and Rose Lucinskas. She is survived by her loving daughter, Norma (Angelari) and her husband, Ed Lapointe of Windham, NH; daughter-in-law, Carol (Molligi) Angelari of Hampton, NH; granddaughter, Lara (Angelari) and her husband, Carlo Colarusso of Wilmington, MA; granddaughter, Alison Angelari of Manchester, UK; granddaughter, Lisa (Lapointe) and her husband, Roland Scheck of Brooklyn, CT; granddaughter, Erica (Lapointe) and her husband, James Brophy of Japan; sister, Marie LaCarubba of Haverhill, MA; and four great-grandchildren, Reagan and Landon Scheck; Jack and Avery Brophy and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to sincerely thank the staffs of Prescott House and Compassus Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Friday, November 23, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen.
