Anna Engdahl

Anna Engdahl, 98, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2018 late in the evening. She was surrounded by family and friends during her final days. Anna spent her last eighteen months at the Berkeley Nursing Center in Lawrence, MA. Our family will be eternally grateful for the exceptional care Anna received from nurses and staff.

Anna retired from Raytheon Company. She earned numerous awards for her superior skills as a technician. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, and most of all, spending time with family. She got great joy playing with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She taught many family and friends her cooking and knitting skills. Those who are the recipients of her many knitted gifts will be reminded of her every day.

Anna was predeceased by her son Philip St. Jean; her husband, Carl Engdahl; parents, Frances and Salvatore Giorato; and nine siblings.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Dianna Barbieri and her husband, Raymond Barbieri, daughter-in-law Gloria St. Jean; sons, Daniel St. Jean, and his wife, Jean St. Jean, and Ronald St. Jean and his wife, Debbie St. Jean; and her sister, Josephine Kutsinakis. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen, MA. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM in the funeral home following visiting hours. Interment will be held in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
