Angela L. (Sapuppo) Blatti, 84
January 24, 1937 – January 7, 2022

Angela L. (Sapuppo) Blatti, 84, of Methuen, MA, passed away suddenly on January 7, 2022, in the comfort of her home. Born on January 24, 1937, in Lawrence, MA, Angela was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rose (Saracusa) Sapuppo and was married to the love of her life, Charles Blatti, for 63 years.

Angela graduated from Tenney High School, class of 1954, and Merrimack College, class of 1956, where she earned an Associate degree in accounting. After obtaining her degree, she worked as a bookkeeper at Nunzi Oil, Cyr Oil, Mahoney Oil and for Zollo’s Barber Shop in Danvers, MA for 55 years. Angela served as a treasurer and president for several years while maintaining her membership at many organizations including St. Rita’s Sodality, The Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality, Greater Lawrence Italian Women’s Club, and Order Sons of Italy Ladies Lodge #2026.

In Angela’s spare time, she enjoyed traveling with family to many parts of the World including Hawaii, Europe, and many cruises as well as their annual trip to Marco Island. She enjoyed spending her summers at the family beach house in Salisbury, MA where she spread her love by entertaining and cooking for her family and friends. Angela enjoyed keeping busy on bowling leagues and playing many card games, bingo, sudoku, and building puzzles. Most of all, Angela enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Angela was unselfish, caring, and admired by so many. In addition to her husband, Charlie, she will be greatly missed by her daughter, Jennifer Little and her husband Randy of Newton, NH; her sons, John Blatti and his wife Therese of Amesbury, MA, Salvatore (Sam) Blatti and his wife Susan of Methuen, MA, and David Blatti and his wife Tammy of Salem, NH; her sister, Rosemary Arcidiacono and her husband Charlie of Rye, NH; her grandchildren, Melissa Hood and her husband Nicholas, Brittany, Courtney, Jordan and his fiancé Sammantha, Ryan, Tyler; and her great-grandchild, Benjamin Hood; her sisters-in-law, Bernice Braccia and Angela Willauer; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Angela was predeceased by her sisters, Lucy Sapuppo and Josephine Carelli.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lucy Church, 254 Merrimack St., Methuen. Angela will be entombed in the mausoleum at St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery, Lawrence.
