Ana L. Fiato

Ana L. (Clase) Fiato, 51, of Methuen, MA, peacefully passed away on April 22, 2022, at Lawrence General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 1, 1970, she was the daughter of Federico Clase and Minerva (Martinez) Clase.

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Ana moved to the United States in 1993, and pursued her Bachelor’s degree. She later worked at the Greater Lawrence Technological School as an ELL teacher. She was married to John J. Fiato and lovingly doted on their only son, Anthony Joseph Fiato. Ana was an amazing wife, mother, sister, and friend. She loved to spend time with her family, and travel with them. Her son described her as the best mother in the world. Ana was a strong woman who always put her family first and took care of all of their needs. She was a woman of deep faith and enjoyed a close relationship with God. She was a devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Ana is pre-deceased by her brother, Francis M. Clase.

Ana will be deeply missed. She is survived by her loving son, Anthony Fiato; siblings, Yudirky R. Clase, Yadira Clase, and Magnolia Martinez; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, Methuen. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Barker Street, Lawrence.
