Alfred J. Marrone

SANDOWN, NH- Alfred J. Marrone, 61, of Sandown, NH passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Saturday, August 4, 2018 at High Pointe House in Haverhill.

Alfred was born in Lawrence, MA on August 20, 1956 to the late Henry and Amelia (Sarto) Marrone. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. He worked for Putnam Investments for over ten years and most recently was a self-employed consultant in the transportation industry.

Alfred had an undeniable passion for living. He enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life: fishing on his bass boat, woodworking, and driving his Land Cruiser through the mud to name a few. He is known for his positive attitude and his ability to tell endless amounts of jokes.

He is survived by his wife, Diane (Azzarelli) Marrone of Sandown; his two children, Nicholas J. Marrone and his wife, Natasha of Sandown and his daughter, Stephanie A. McNally and her husband, Craig of Salem, NH; and two grandchildren, Liliana Marrone and Benjamin McNally. Also among his survivors are his brother, Henry Marrone and his wife, Patty of Florida; and many family members that he held close to his heart. A special thank you to his cousin, Angela Sakakeeny for being his guardian angel during this difficult time.

A celebration of Alfred’s life will be held on Sunday August 19, 2018 at The California Room, 290 Derry Road in Hudson, NH from 1-4 PM.
