Albert J. Savastano

Attorney Albert J. Savastano, 86, of Hudson NH, formerly a longtime Salem, NH resident, died Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at The Inn at Fairview in Hudson.

Albert was born in Lawrence, MA on June 16, 1932, to the late Charles and Emma (Diodati) Savastano. He attended Lawrence schools and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. He then went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College and his law degree from Boston University.

He was employed for many years at Raytheon as a legal advisor to the Missile Systems Division in Bedford, MA. Albert attained his black belt in karate and enjoyed cooking, music, travel, and reading, but most of all time spent with his beloved family.

The widower of the late Pauline (Drouin) Savastano, Albert is survived by his children, Donna M. Savastano of Derry, NH, Michael J. Savastano and his wife Kelly of Windham, NH, Daniel J. Savastano of Derry, NH, Karen M. Savastano and her partner, Lisa Cefalo of Dracut, MA, Lisa A. Scali and her husband, Philip of Belmont, MA, and Stephen R. Savastano and his wife, Sandra of Charlotte, NC. Also among his survivors are his cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Julia, David, Christopher, Alex, Mia, Rachael, Philip, Spencer, Aliza, and Victoria.

Family and friends may call on Friday, March 1, 2019, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen, MA. A funeral mass will be offered on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street in Methuen. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Mausoleum in Methuen.

The family would like to acknowledge the exceptional care given to their father by the staff of the Inn at Fairview and Compassionate Care Hospice.
