Agnes L. L' Ecuyer

Agnes L. (Scandura) L’Ecuyer, 86, of Methuen passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen.  Born in Methuen, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Concettina (Sapienza) Scandura.
 
Agnes was a lifelong resident of Methuen and a graduate of Searles High School.  She graduated from Chandler School for Women in Boston in 1951.  She worked for Holy Family Hospital as a lab administrator and retired after forty-two years of service.  Agnes also enjoyed gardening, reading, and vacationing at the beach.
 
Agnes is survived by her children, Sharon Callahan and her husband, Robert of Haverhill, Kenneth L’Ecuyer and his wife, Judith, David L’Ecuyer, and Steven L’Ecuyer, all of Methuen, and Richard L’Ecuyer and his wife, Kathleen of Salem, NH; brother, Rosario Scandura, M.D. and his wife, Patricia of Plaistow, NH; grandchildren, Justin Hatem and his wife, Denise, Nicholas L’Ecuyer, Jonathan L’Ecuyer and his wife, Lindsey, Allyson Pellerin and her husband, Ryan, and Michelle L’Ecuyer; her great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Zoe and close family friend, James Stirling.
 
She was predeceased by her husband, Leo W. L’Ecuyer and sister, Vera Scandura.
 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen.  Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
