Walter D. Wildes

Walter Wildes, Jr., 68, of Andover passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover. Born and raised in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Walter, Sr. and Evelyn (Denuccio) Wildes.

Walter worked for many years at Lawrence Maid Company. He was a member of the Masons and attended St. Joseph’s Melkite Church and Corpus Christi Parish. He was ordained into The Oblates of the Holy Spirit Religious Order and was a Third Order member.

Walter is survived by his aunt, Ruth Doran of Methuen; cousins, Robert Doran of Methuen, Frank Doran of Florida, and Lisa English of Lawrence and second cousins, Ashley, Eric and Shawn English, Dennis and Zachery Deschampe.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St., Lawrence. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence. At the request of the family, there will be no visiting hours.
