Virginia (Milone) Hajjar, 91, passed away on November 17, 2017. She was born March 8, 1926 in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School. Virginia devoted her life to her family and others; she was selfless. Bringing family together around the table or at the beach was her passion. Her doors were always open and the wisdom she imparted over a meal cooked with love was invaluable. She extended this care to her community as a crossing guard for the Ashford School and as a driving instructor for D&G Auto School in her earlier years. She was fiercely independent at the young age of 91 years. Virginia was a kind, true, and passionate soul and she will be missed greatly.
Virginia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Hajjar.
She is survived by her children, Geraldine Murphy, Pamela Hajjar, James Hajjar and his wife Sarah, Karen Streeter, and Bonita Hajjar. She also leaves five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen.
