There are not enough words to convey the difference this amazing woman made in every life she touched. She was one of the most genuinely kind people I’ve ever known. Growing up, she truly was like a 2nd Mom to me. Even in my adult years, when life took us all in different directions, she never forgot a birthday, and she was always there to make a sweet comment on a photo online, and she’d never forget to tell you she was proud of you. She welcomed me in and treated me like an extended part of her family.

Ma, Mommy2, Theresa, I’ll never be able to thank you enough for putting up with a pair of goofy, moody, sometimes incorrigible teenage girls, always with a smile, a hug, a consoling word, some excellent advice, encouragement, or a good joke. You were a shoulder to cry on, a good laugh, and someone to make sure we didn’t get into TOO much trouble. And to make sure we didn’t live solely on pizza and French fries. Above all, you taught us to respect ourselves and not to let anyone put us down. You will NEVER be forgotten.
