Tammie L. Sargent

Tammie L. Sargent, age 53, of Haverhill, MA passed away Friday February 17, 2017 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House with her family at her side. She passed away after a long, courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Haverhill and raised in Haverhill and Seabrook, NH. She was a graduate of Winnacunnet High School and Northern Essex Community College graduating with her Associates Degree in Nursing. She later attended UMass Boston and received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing.

Tammie will be remembered by her coworkers, family and friends for her intense love, strong advocacy and undying passion for her patients. Tammie spent her career working at Holy Family Hospital and Merrimack Valley Hospital as a staff nurse and then a nurse manager in the emergency department. She was very passionate about camping, enjoying her friends and family at Danforth Bay at the Bluffs in Freedom, NH. She also loved the beach and spending time with her dog Baxter.

Tammie is survived by her parents, D. Keith and Judy Livingstone of Seabrook, NH, her partner MaryBeth Zambella of Haverhill, her sons Andrew and Anthony Zambella of Georgetown, her brother Barry Sargent and his wife Lynette of Seabrook, NH, her sister Michele Sargent of Marshall, VA and her partner Sarah Crocker and her nephews Andrew and Hunter Sargent.
She will be greatly missed by many loving friends and coworkers who supported her during her life and passing.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 3-7 pm at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen, MA. Funeral services will follow at the conclusion of visiting hours at 7 pm. Donations can be made in Tammie’s name to Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 North Ave, Haverhill, MA 01830.
