Robert E. Boileau

Bob "Bear" Boileau, 74, passed away on the morning of June 12, 2017 in the company of his loving wife, Carol. Known as ‘Bear’ to friends and family, he leaves behind a trail of kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity. A resident of Andover, he was born in Burlington, Vermont. Vermont and Lake Champlain have been a part of his soul ever since.
 
Bob was successful in his business endeavors at Screenprint/Dow, holding leadership positions and earning many accolades in industry associations. He was even more successful in his personal endeavors - bringing happiness to most everyone he met. One of Bear’s signature qualities was that he reveled in the joy of others.  He enjoyed traveling and being surrounded by friends and family, but he most loved to be in, on, or around Lake Champlain, boating, or just relaxing and watching another beautiful sunset.
 
His immediate family includes his wife, Carol Boileau; children and spouses, Colleen and Joe Brandon, Sean and Nancy Dowd, Tracy and Matthew Phillips, and Scott Boileau; grandchildren and spouses, Sarah and Florian LeSaux, Patrick Brandon, Caitlin and Kevin Downey, McKenzie Brandon, Ryan and Kyle Dowd, Jason and Brendan Phillips; great-grandchild, Scarlett Downey; and siblings and spouses, Paul and Nancy Boileau, and Sandra Trudo, and their children.
 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Monday, June 19, 2017 in the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Bob Boileau may be made on-line or checks can be made out to “MGH Bone Marrow Transplant Program” and sent to Massachusetts General Hospital c/o Development Office, Attn. Tyrone Latin, 125 Nashua Street, Suite 540, Boston, MA 02114.
