Peter J. Laudani, 92, of Lawrence passed away September 12, 2017 at Holy Family Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lawrence and was the son of the late Giuseppe and Carmela (Scandura) Laudani.
Peter was raised and educated in Lawrence. He helped his parents at an early age start PJ’s Spaghetti House in Lawrence and later, PJ’s Snack Bar in Salisbury Beach. In 1948, PJ’s Pizza settled into Methuen where it is still today, 69 years later. He was a member of the Sons of Italy and the Methuen Rod & Gun Club. His hobbies were gardening, cooking, cars, and spending time with his family. He had many other hidden talents.
He was predeceased by his wife, Florence (Vallante) Laudani and his daughter, Carmela (Laudani) Mills.
Peter is survived by his sons, Joseph and his wife Danielle of Londonderry NH, Peter and his wife Diorys of Salem NH; Son in-law Alvin Mills; sister, Grace Nader of FL; grandchildren, Maria, Kristina, Jennifer, Christopher, Stephanie, Dylan, and Emily; and great-grandchildren, Owen and Lawrence, Jr.; as well as sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Rd., Salem, NH. His funeral mass will follow at the conclusion of visitation at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
