To my sweet, loving, beautifully-souled cousins, Sharon, Donna, Cynthia, and Beth. You all are deep in my thoughts and heart. Iam so very sorry for the heartache you are feeling from the loss of your wonderful mother, my aunt Pat. She was a rock, a mentor, an example to all who knew her or met her once, how we should live our lives and treat one another. For you, she was your lighthouse, when you were at sea, the light to help you find your way. The zest for which Pat lived her life, is the true testament to a life well-lived. The same holds true for the way she loved!!! First, the love of her parents. Secondly, the love for her beloved sweetheart Donald Leslie, and then the love she showed by the way she raised you, Sharon, Donna, Cynthia and Beth. Iam proud, honored, and grateful to be part of such a special family that is so giving of their hearts, hugs and unconditional love. It is in great part from the great models we all had by the way that Donald and Pat lived their lives, volunteered, and gave so much of themselves to everyone.....aquaintances to life-long friends. When your hearts slowly start to heal, I know you will all smile, and yes, laugh, when you think of your mom, and the wonderful and silly, crazy things she did and the passion and zest for which she lived her life. My deepest sympathy to you all for your loss. You are all strong women and I know without a shadow of a doubt, you will continue to live your lives to their fullest, and with the same love, zest, fearlessness, strength, and passion that your mom, Pat did. To all of you who loved Pat and were loved in return, I am so sorry to hear that your mother, grandmother, friend has died. May your great memories sustain you now that she has gone home to God. Fortunately we have met at meetings in recent years and I remember our younger fun days bringing up up our families,
