Mafalda Traficante

Mafalda (Forgione) Traficante, 93, of Methuen passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Cedar View Rehabilitation Healthcare Center with her family by her side. She was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late Carmen and Filomina (Pascle) Forgione.

Mrs. Traficante was raised and educated in Lawrence. She enjoyed taking care of her family at home, playing bingo and trips to Foxwoods.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Traficante and her brothers, Alexander and Emilio Forgione.

Mrs. Traficante is survived by her nephews, Robert Forgione and Leonard Wahlgren, Jr. of Methuen and her nieces, Shirley D’Angelo and her husband Tony of Lawrence, Debra Egan and her husband David of Methuen and Susan Graham and her husband Steve of FL and her brother-in-law, Albert Traficante of Salem, NH. She also leaves several other nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Friday, March 24, 2017 at St. Monica’s Church, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen.
