Lillian M. Mariano

Lillian M. (Ardizzone) Mariano, 96, formerly of Methuen passed away on June 1, 2017 at Trinity Medical Center in Trinity, FL surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Lucia (Traina) Ardizzone. Lillian was the widow of Mario J. Mariano andwas predeceased by her sisters, Frances Vetrone and Jennie Milone and her granddaughter, Carolyn R. Mariano.

Lillian was a life-long resident of Methuen until her move to Florida with her daughter and son in 2001. She retired from General Tire Bolta Division. Her passions in life were cooking, especially her homemade raviolis, playing cards, crocheting and knitting, bingo and crossword puzzles and devoting her time to her family.

She is survived by her children, Charlotte Mariano and her husband Robert T. Zangri of Palm Harbor, FL and her sons, Vincent J. Mariano and Ronald Mariano and his wife, Judy of Spring Hill FL. She was the cherished grandmother of Ronald Mariano, Brian Mariano, Kristen Coulouras, Kimberly Galloway and her husband Johnathan Brett Galloway; and had several great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral services will commence at the conclusion of visiting hours at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
