Joseph “Sandy” L. Desroche, 71, of Methuen passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at Wingate in Andover with his family by his side. Born in Methuen, he was the son of Alfred and Irene (DeForrest) Desroche.
Joseph was a graduate of Lawrence High School, class of 1963. He worked for many years as a cab driver for local cab companies. He was also a veteran of the Vietnam War and served with the U.S. Air Force.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Diedre Boeske.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of thirty-six years, Debra (Gallant) Desroche; his daughters, Angelique Farragher and her fiancé, James Lamarche of North Andover and Amy Desroche and her wife, Tammy Manning of Billerica; his sister, Lorelie Brown and her husband Glen of Methuen; and his grandchildren, Colin, Kaitlin, and Ryan. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Our Lady of Good Counsel / St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth St., Methuen.
