Jennie R. (Camasso) D’Agostino, 92, of Methuen passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late James and Assunta (DiZazzo) Camasso.
Jennie was raised and educated in Lawrence. She worked for Lucent Technologies and AT&T for thirty years as an assembler. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church where she was a former member of St. Rita’s Sodality.
Jennie was predeceased by her husband, Alfred D’Agostino; her daughter, Janice Ackerman; her siblings, Albert, John and Alphonse Camasso, Florence Parenti, and Helen Vittorrisso.
She is survived by her son, Philip D’Agostino and his wife Trudy of Salem, NH; her sisters, Celia Parisi and Sylvia Leone both of Methuen; her son-in-law, Howard Ackerman of FL and her sisters-in-law, Lyra Camasso of Methuen and Laurette Camasso of Lawrence. She also leaves eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and God children.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St., Lawrence.
