Jeannette I. (Poulin) Lombardo, 88, of Methuen passed away peacefully on Wednesday at Suttonhill Nursing Center, North Andover. Jeannette was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of Antonio Poulin and Ida (Dumont) Poulin, and the widow of Lorenzo Lombardo.
Jeannette was raised in Methuen. She worked for many years at Raytheon in Andover before staying home to raise her children, after her children were in school she went back to work for the City of Methuen working in the Methuen High Schools cafeteria. Jeannette was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Jeannette is survived by her daughter Kristina M. Newcomb of Methuen, her grandchildren Laurie Chiarenza of Derry, NH, Timothy Newcomb of Chester, NH, and two great grandchildren Isabella Balsamo and Kylee Sweet. Jeannette also leaves her siblings, a twin sister Yvette Herchenroder of Methuen, Marcelle Martino of Salem, NH, Doris Harasen, Claire Lavoie, Camille “Kim” Poulin and his wife Elizabeth Shaw all of Tucson, AZ, Eugene Poulin and his wife Pricilla, of Andover, NH, Lee Poulin and his wife Beverly, of Atkinson, NH, Larry Poulin and his wife Janet, of Salem, NH; and many nieces and nephews. Jeannette was predeceased by her son David L. Lombardo and her sister Irene Beaulieu.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00pm at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 9:00 am at St. Lucy’s Church, 254 Merrimack St., Methuen. Burial will follow her services at Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.
