I have so many fond memories of working at The Grocery Bag with George and the rest of the gang. It's been many years since then but the memories have not faded a bit. My thoughts are with you all. George was a kind and gentle soul.

To the Howie family, I am very sorry for your loss. George was a generous man and well respected. I'll never forget searching for scratch tickets under the lotto machine every time I walked in from the age of 8 until 30! My thoughts and prayers are with you Nick and Jonny. Nick and family, so sorry to read of Georges passing. Both my husband and I used to get our lunch from the Grocery Bag when we worked down the street at Andover Controls. He was well loved by all who went into his store. George was always kind and made everyone laugh, so young to pass on but will always be remembered for who he was.

My sympathies to all Georgie's family. I am very glad I had the opportunity to spend time with George in different occasions. My receipt times were the most heartfelt. Lately George loved to visit the warmth of S. Fla! Thanks Eileen , Bek & Chris for those memories of George. He always made me smile!
