Francisca I. Lopez

Francisca I. Lopez passed away on July 15th, 2017 at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs. Lopez was born in Santiago Dominican Republic and is the daughter of Angela Lopez and to the late Francisco Lopez.

Mrs. Lopez was a nurse in her native country. She came to the United States in 1968 and held several jobs with the last one being a PCA for Work Inc. She was a sport enthusiastic loyal fan to all Boston sports with her first love being the Boston Red Sox. Francisca was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and was admired by everyone that knew her. Francisca had a golden heart and will be sadly missed by all the hearts she touched.

She will be survived by her husband Juan Rosario of Lawrence, Elsie Flores and her husband Tony of Chicago, IL, Angela Cancel and her husband Joel Perez of Haverhill, and Gamaliel Cancel, Jr. of Lawrence. She also leaves her eight cherished grandchildren Tony Flores, Yasmin Navarro, Angel Navarro, Joshua Perez, Joel Flores, Gamarieliz Cancel, Xaria Cancel, and Yelitza Cancel. She also leaves her brothers Roberto Lopez and his wife Miriam of NY, Carlos Lopez and Henry Lopez and sister Ines Lopez and her husband Samuel Sigaran all of Lawrence, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Wednesday July 19th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen. Her mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday July 20th at 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s Church, 118 S. Broadway, Lawrence. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery Lawrence.
