When I first came from Germany to visit my relatives in Salem, NH I also had the pleasure to make the acquaintance of Emilio Corrente and his likable wife Barbara. It was the summer 1970 and I was a student of architecture at Munich Technical University. Emilio, the home builder of Italian descent impressed me as a skillful carpenter and by his motto "measure twice - cut once", reminding us of the wise maxim: First Think Then Act.
