Donald J. Povilaitis, 79, of Methuen passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at his home. He was born in Lawrence and was the son of the late John and Malvina (Kasvich) Povilaitis.
Donald was raised and educated in Lawrence and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. He worked for many years at Western Electric and retired from Lucent Technologies. He enjoyed golfing, watching horse racing, and sports.
Donald is survived by his companion, Freda Belanger of Methuen; sons, Donald and his wife Krissi of Litchfield, NH, Daniel of Lawrence, and David of Methuen; daughters, Laura Povilaitis of CT and Marsha Povilaitis of Methuen. He also leaves seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
