Domenic Ferraro

Domenic Ferraro, 92, of Methuen passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House surrounded by his family.  He was born in Lawrence and was the son of the late Donato and Concetta (Giorgio) Ferraro.

Domenic was raised and educated in Lawrence.  At a young age, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was a WWII veteran.  After being honorably discharged from the service, he worked in construction and later retired from the Merrimack Paper Company.  He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.

Domenic was married for 69 years before being predeceased by his wife, Dorothy (Devine) Ferraro. He was also predeceased by three brothers, and five sisters, and grandson, Matthew Ferraro.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Ferraro and his wife Diane of Methuen, Robert Ferraro and his wife Anne Marie of Methuen, Thomas Ferraro and his wife Daphne of NJ, and Mark Ferraro and his companion, Dena Brant of Methuen.  He also leaves eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, one brother-in- law and two sisters-in-law. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen.  His funeral mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St., Lawrence.
