Benjamin St. Pierre

Benjamin St. Pierre, 89, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Donalda “Donna” (Courcy) St. Pierre.

Born in Ville Degelis, Canada, Benjamin was the son of the late Thomas and Lea (Lemieux) St. Pierre and was educated there. He married Donna in August of 1959 and immigrated to the United States, and settled in Lawrence, MA. Benjamin was an equipment operator, he worked at Scotts Construction, in Derry NH, and fully retired in 1996 and moved to Salem, NH, in 2010.

Benjamin loved spending time with his family more than anything. He was a pro playing pool, handy mechanic, gardening, and loved the outdoors. He was always there to help his family and friends.

Along with his parents and beloved wife, Benjamin is pre-deceased by his sister, Rita Ouellet; and brothers, Benoi, Jean-Leo and his wife Huguette, Armand and his wife Charlotte, and Yvonne.

Benjamin will be dearly missed and is survived his beloved children, Diane St. Pierre-Farrell, and her husband Michael, of Raymond, NH, Carol Travis, and her wife Michelle, of Danvers, MA, and Danny St. Pierre, and his wife Linda, of Raymond, NH; seven grandchildren, Khristyna Wunderly and her husband Kevin, Stephanie Basnett and her husband Daniel, Nathan Farrell and his wife Bonnie, Ashley Beausoleil, Matthew Beausoleil, Daniel St. Pierre, Jr. and his partner Amber Senter, and Tyler St. Pierre. He is also survived by his siblings, Joseph and his wife Jacqueline, Ghislain and his wife Laurinette, Ghislaine and her husband Edgar, Gerard and his wife Adrienne, Marcel and his wife Francine, and Nicole and her partner Albert. He is also survived by his sister in-law, Pierrette (Benoit), and her present husband Julien, as well as his ten great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA. A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Michael Parish, 196 Main Street, North Andover, MA. Entombment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
