Ann was one of those rare people that only come along once or twice in a lifetime. She was kind, funny, sincere, and had the most wit and wisdom of any one I have ever met‼️She was a mentor before there was any such thing in LPS. She was also motherly of so many of us teachers new to Lawrence in the late 80's. Those words of wisdom have stayed with me all these years and I, too, have used her words as a former mentor for young teachers. She has certainly left a legacy, all her own, with her family, friends, and former colleagues. John's. eulogy was so beautiful, and full of love and raw emotion. What a mother and grandmother she was! What a teacher she was! What a friend she was! She had many losses in life and still lit up the world for others. How very much like her ....her wake and funeral ...beautiful, full of emotion, light, and love.❤️ Her light and love continues to shine through her children, her grandchildren, her friends, her former colleagues, and her students. She was and still is the rarest of gems 💎 and I am so eternally grateful she chose me to be her friend. Rest In Peace with Carl, Leslie Ann, your patents, and sisters. You will be forever missed‼️💕

I knew about Ann from Rosemary Nicolosi, a cousin of mine.
I express my deep sentiment of condolences to all her family.
I met, her first cousin, Santo Nicolosi in Rome in 1998 during his last visit to Italy.
I am linked to Santo through the Sicilian Serafica-Nicolosi Family Tree.

We have such lovely memories of your mother while staying at Salisbury. Whether it was eating a doughnut, clam chowder, a Dairy Queen, or frittata reminiscent of my grandmother's , we had such fun talking and being with Ann. Our children and grandkids loved talking to Miss Ann and she always had a smile and a story for them. She will be missed but you were so blessed to have had her.
Peace and love,
Rosemarie, Ed, and family

My condolences go to all of Ann's beautiful family and my heartfelt sorrow for their loss of a very loving and so caring mom. Ann was so dedicated to her profession and made sure no child was ever left behind. I have lost a long time friend and my prayers are with her as she has gone home to Christ and Carl is there waiting with open arms.
