Ann (Scandura) Jannetti, 89, of Andover passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at Berkeley Nursing Center in Lawrence. Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Alfio and Rose (Nicolosi) Scandura.
Ann was a graduate of Lawrence High School and Lesley College. She taught for over forty years and was a teacher in Lawrence Public Schools for thirty-three years. Ann was a member of the College Club of Greater Lawrence and the Greater Lawrence Italian Women's Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Jannetti, Jr. her daughter Leslie Ann, and her sisters, Sally Hoyt and Mary McCloskey.
Ann is survived by her children: John Jannetti and his wife Diane of Andover, Gerald Jannetti and his wife Patty of Robbinsville, NJ, Rosemary Palleschi and her husband Thomas of Haverhill, and Debbie Mosher and her husband Scott of Andover. She also leaves nine grandchildren: Andrew, Matthew, Jessica, Alex, Julia, and Alaina Jannetti, Olivia and Owen Mosher, and Thomas Palleschi. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral mass will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at St. Augustine’s Church, 43 Essex St., Andover. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.
